How to prepare your quilt for machine quilting
Follow these simple steps to help Wilma in setting up your quilt on the long arm machine nicely, for a perfect result.

How to prepare a quilt for quilting
Place your quilt top, back and batting in a bag or pillow case, fold them individually, do not sandwich the quilt. No basting or pinning.
    use only a good cotton
Backing may be pieced, but please use only 100% cotton.

add extra fabric for machine preparation
Make sure your quilt back is a minimum of 8" longer and 8" wider than your quilt top (that is 4" all around). This will allow for a correct positioning of the quilt on the machine.
     Cotton Batting preferred
The batting, if provided by you, should be as wide as the backing. We recommend the use of cotton, wool or a good quality poly-cotton mix.
     Add special instructions
You can mark the top of the quilt with a pin or masking tape, include any other special instruction.
We will contact you for any major problem, before starting the job
We will do our best to smooth wavy borders and to fix any other minor problem, but we will not be responsible for customer workmanship. You will be informed of any major problem before initiating the quilting.
